Frequently Asked Questions

What is High Lifter Mud Nationals?

In short, the biggest mud party in the south!

When you arrive for the 5-day High Lifter Mud Nationals Hillarosa experience, there is no shortage of activities to keep you and your group entertained. Most people opt to stay onsite for the full experience (more info on that below). Each day there are different competitions for attendees to spectate or even participate in. It’s your chance to win some big prize money! There are also nightly concerts, a huge vendor area with industry leading companies and games, and a huge food court. Aside from all of the fun that High Lifter has planned, there is open riding throughout the entire park 24 hours of the day.

How do I get tickets?

Attendees can secure tickets online before the event starts OR purchase them at the front gate upon entrance. We recommend purchasing tickets early to speed up the line at the gate, but nobody will be turned away at the gate. General admission for the 5-day event is $75 per person. Early fees apply for anyone arriving before Wednesday, March 30.

Where do I stay?

There are a couple of different options. We recommend staying onsite for the ultimate event experience. Bring a camper or pitch a tent. There is no wrong way to do Mud Nats! General camping is first come first serve and is only $40 per camper for the entire stay. You are permitted to camp wherever there is an open space when you arrive. (Space fills up the later you come!) Tent camping is free.

You also have the option to reserve a dry camping spot. It’s a little more money, $125, but this ensures that you will have a specific spot reserved just for you when you arrive. This also makes it easy for you and your buddies to camp together. Reserve yours here.

There will be no campsites with hookups available for purchase this year.

There are a couple of hotels nearby, but rooms fill up very quickly.

How early can I come?

You can arrive as early as the weekend before, but early fees do apply. Please see the Tickets & Camping page for details.

Are there restrooms and showers onsite?

Yes! There will be portable toilets throughout the park for anyone to use. There will be a shower trailer open 24/7 as well. Showers are $5 for a one-time pass or $20 for an unlimited shower pass armband that you can use as many times as you want throughout the event. These are available for purchase before the event here, onsite at the gate, or onsite at the High Lifter Information Booth in Vendor Village.

How do I sign up for competitions?

Entries will also be accepted onsite at the High Lifter Information Booth in Vendor Village up until an hour before each competition starts.

What kind of vendors will be there?

There will be a variety of powersports industry vendors at High Lifter Mud Nationals. Vendor Village will be packed with booths featuring the newest builds and products on the market. See the list of everyone committed here. Food vendors will also be open throughout the event.

Can I sell products from my camper?

Unfortunately, you are not permitted to sell anything from your personal camper. If you’d like to participate in vendor sales, you can apply to become a vendor and set up a booth in Vendor Village. To learn more about unauthorized selling, visit our Guidelines Page.

Can I rent a unit to ride?

We do not offer unit rentals at High Lifter Events. There may be demo rides. (Must provide own helmet)

What should I bring?

  • Your ID! Everyone must present a valid ID at the gate and sign a waiver.
  • Your mud bike – decked out in High Lifter parts, of course.
  • Clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.

Can I buy gas onsite?

No. Gas will not be available on onsite this year. There are area gas stations close to Hillarosa ATV Park.

What about ice?

Ice will also be for sale onsite at High Lifter Mud Nationals.

Can I fly my drone?

Personal drones may not be operated. Media is excluded after approved by High Lifter Events. To have your drone approved, email events@highlifter.com.

Will my personal property be safe in my car or at my campsite?

Security and police officers will be on patrol throughout the park to enforce all High Lifter Mud Nationals and Hillarosa ATV Park riles and policies. As a safety precaution, lock up any unattended valuable items in a safe location. High Lifter Events and Hillarosa ATV Park are not responsible for lost or stolen property.

My question wasn’t answered.

Please email further questions to events@highlifter.com.

We look forward to seeing you there!
