What is High Lifter Mud Nationals?
Only the biggest mud ride in the Southeast!
When you arrive for the 5-day High Lifter Mud Nationals, there is no shortage of activities to keep you and your group entertained. Most people choose to stay onsite camping, in order to get the full experience (more info below). There are competitions, games, vendors, concerts and most importantly, miles of trails to ride and explore. You can test your skills in the mud competitions to win money and bragging rights, or you can simply watch and cheer for your favorite racer. If racing is not your thing, you can test your skills in the poker run or roll the prize wheel to win big prizes. There is something for everyone.
How do I get tickets?
Attendees can purchase tickets online before the event starts OR purchase them at the gate when you arrive. Once our gates open, they do not close until the end of the event. We recommend purchasing tickets early to speed up the line at the gate. General admission for the 5-day event is $85 per person if purchased online, $100 per person if purchased at the gate. Children 6 years and under are free. Early fees apply for anyone arriving before 8 am on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
Where do I stay?
There are several options available. We recommend staying onsite to get the total experience.
There are full RV campsites available to reserve through the park website that have water and electrical hook-ups, and even some with sewer connections.
You also have the option to reserve a dry camping spot. This ensures that you will have a specific spot reserved just for you. This also makes it easy for you and your buddies to camp together. These are 30′ x 70′ sites that are held until you arrive.
General camping is first come first served and can be used for your camper / tent or box trailer (if used for sleeping) for the entire stay. You are permitted to camp wherever there is an open space that is not marked for reserved customers when you arrive. Be aware that pace fills up fast, so the later you come the less space you have to choose from!
There are also some hotels in the Leesville, LA area and the Jasper, TX area, if you prefer, but rooms fill up quickly.
Pricing and links for all camping can be found on the “Admissions” tab.
How early can I come?
You can arrive as early as Monday, March 13th, but early fees do apply. Please see the “Admissions” tab for details.
Are there restrooms and showers onsite?
Yes! There will be portable toilets throughout the park for anyone to use. There will be a shower trailer open 24/7 as well. Showers are $20 for an unlimited shower pass armband that you can use as many times as you want throughout the event. These are available for purchase before the event, onsite at the gate, or onsite at the High Lifter Information Booth in Vendor Village. There is also a shower house on the park premises that is free to use.
How do I sign up for competitions?
Entries are accepted onsite. The Event Schedule has locations, times, etc. for entering. For race competition information including rules, regulations and race fees, see the race pages.
What kind of vendors will be there?
There will be a variety of powersports industry vendors at High Lifter Mud Nationals. Vendor Village will be packed with booths featuring the newest builds and products on the market. Food vendors will also be onsite during the event.
Can I sell products from my trailer/camper?
Unfortunately, you are not permitted to sell anything from your personal camper or trailer. If you’d like to participate in vendor sales, you can apply to become a vendor and set up a booth in Vendor Village. To learn more about unauthorized selling, visit our Guidelines Page.
Can I rent a unit to ride?
We do not offer unit rentals at High Lifter Events.
What should I bring?
- Your ID! Everyone must present a valid ID at the gate and sign a waiver.
- Your ATV or UTV – decked out in High Lifter parts, of course.
- Clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Be prepared for all types of weather during the event. This is springtime in East Texas!
Can I buy gas onsite?
Gas will be available on onsite this year. There are no area gas stations close to Sabine ATV Park.
What about ice?
Ice will also be for sale onsite.
Can I fly my drone?
Personal drones may not be operated. Media is excluded after approved by High Lifter Events. To have your drone approved, email marketing@highlifter.com.
Will my personal property be safe in my car or at my campsite?
Security and police officers will be on patrol throughout the park to enforce all High Lifter Mud Nationals and Sabine ATV Park rules and policies. As a safety precaution, we recommend that you lock up any unattended valuable items in a safe location. High Lifter Events and Sabine ATV Park are not responsible for lost or stolen property.
Is there a map of the trails for the park?
Yes. You can download the Lost Riders App. This is the official trail app of the 2023 High Lifter Mud Nationals event. No internet is required to use the app, but you need to download the app with internet or data access. High resolution satellite imagery allows you to see trails of the park. The Lost Riders App also includes a SOS feature allowing you to notify friends and the park in case of an emergency. You can download this app in the Apple or Android App Stores.
